“The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” began airing this month on FX. You can see it on Tuesday nights or catch it online at fxnetworks.com.

FX says the 10-episode series is the final word on what really happened when football legend O.J. Simpson was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and waiter, Ronald Goldman.

The series reportedly includes details that have never been revealed before.

Bassett’s husband, actor Courtney B. Vance stars as Johnnie Cochran in the series. The actress shared with Closer Weekly her real opinion on the famous O.J. scandal.

“Yeah, I think O.J. did it,” Angela admits to Closer. “But what’s most important are those lives that were lost in that senseless, reckless, violent way and the young children who lost their mother,” she said. “My best wishes are for their comfort.”

He lost the civil trial and got a life sentence for that nonsense in Vegas for the same reason so many people WANT to believe he killed 2 people and walked away without a scratch on him. He's BLACK and Nicole and Ron were White.

I agree EXCEPT the main reason he's sitting in jail over that Vegas nonsense is because he was Black and Nicole and Ron were White. O.J.'s child drown and he was messing with 17 year old Nicole and destroyed his marriage. He didn't just start being cold and uncaring with her. WHAT about the wife and children he left behind FOR her?

Remember when he used to beat her up and drag her by the hair naked out the front door ...

The whole thing was affirmative justice. He was guilty and everyone knew it. But...if found guilty rioting and looting would have destroyed the city so the govt ordered a non guilty verdict to save billions in damage with the promise to get him in jail later on something else. It worked quite well.

Of course, he did it. Who else would be that vicious? It was personal.

He did it, but got off due to sloppy police work.

Everyone know he did it. Jury was too stupid to realize it.

Well he wasn't "convicted" - you can't be "convicted" in a civil trial....

It was more the corrupt cops that made it possible for him to get off. They make the attorney's job easy. A shame.

Back then it was about race. I was young and I remember some of it. It was basically like Everyone knew he was guilty but it was the Rodney King stuff going on that sort of sealed it. SOME black people were happy he got off, simply because he was black...not that they believed he was innocent.

Barron Wesley, I agree with you, his name is Glen Rogers, and he admitted to his family that he killed both of them! I saw the documentary on ID, and his family believes that he did it, also....the evidence that they showed convinced me that Rogers did it!!!

Of course he did. Hey even admitted it in a book that he wrote called "I Did It". The title was later changed to "If I Did It" when he found out he wasn't going to get any money due to the civil suit brought on by the Goldman family.

I also have no doubt that he did it, but I'm willing to bet that if his brain is donated to Boston University after he dies it will be discovered that O.J. was just another ex-NFL player who suffered from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).

Not only his trophies, but his most prized trophy and his identity. He WAS the former pro football player and Heisman winner. It was the heart and soul of who he was. There is a credible argument to be made for that stance.

Did you ever meet Ted Bundy? Or any other psychopath? Look up the definition of a narcissistic sociopath. They do walk amongst us...daily. Many "athletes", no different than any other segment of our society, have killed other human beings and walked around like nothing ever happened. They can be found standing with a bloody knife over the dead body AND still claim their innocence. They believe they are above the law. They've been prosecuted and found guilty. But, OJ wasn't found guilty. Accepted. I don't know OJ or Kris Jenner, but, I'm going off of sworn testimony, facts that were presented, and OJ's video depositions that were released recently and his actions to this point in time...his ego, lack of respect & compassion for his ex-wife and THEIR children, speak volumes as to his CHARACTER. BTW, I worked as a personal assistant for a well known, world champion, professional athlete...he wasn't a killer, I knew that more than just staring at him, I actually knew him, his world, and his family. One last point & then I'm off to bed... It always made me curious that OJ didn't have loads of friends - real friends - standing in his corner shouting about the injustice of his prosecution, and the horrific manner that his wife and innocent friend met at the end of their life and how, along with OJ, they wouldn't rest until the murderer was found & prosecuted. Not a word. Sad, very sad. But, in our world today, we still have many concerns & challenges. I wish you nothing but peace & goodwill! God bless!!!

Robin Rutherford met OJ after trial on one of his trips to Atlanta. I remember staring at him and searching for answers if a person could commit such a crime then walk around as boldly as he did. Something so odd about entire situation and all involved. Don't trust kris Jenner for nothing.

You're on the fence because of the Kardashians and their love of athletes??? WTHeck??? You should have watched the interview with Kris Jenner and how she regretted not recognizing the signs of abuse from HER friend Nicole Brown Simpson; and how when her ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, was on his deathbed, he wouldn't see or take a call from O.J. - a man, friend, he defended in court, but, knew in his heart he was guilty. THAT spoke volumes to me! Regardless of WHO did it...those two people lost their lives AND many more were deeply scarred!!! So senseless!!! Still breaks my heart.
