Erin Andrews ‘depressed’ and ‘insecure’ says her dad

Despite appearances on television and in interviews, Erin Andrews has been depressed, anxious and insecure, according to her father Steven Andrews.

The revelation about the former Atlantan, sports reporter and host of Dancing with the Stars, came yesterday during the trial for the $75 million lawsuit Andrews filed against the hotel where eight years ago she was filmed changing clothes.

“She’s afraid. She’s afraid of crowds, afraid of people. She doesn’t trust anymore,” said Steven Andrews to the jury as reported by the Associated Press.

Also named in the lawsuit is Michael David Barrett, the man who did the filming. Barrett was sentenced to 30 months in prison in 2009.

Andrews’ father went on to tell the jury that his daughter had always been insecure about her body because she was so tall and skinny. So having images of her body show up in a video on the internet is “the worst thing that could have happened to her from the perspective of self-pride, comfort in the way you look,” said Steven Andrews.

Last week, in an interview with the AJC, Andrews shared that she loved to eat and had gained 15 pounds when she began her sports reporting career.

The trial is expected to last two weeks.

She's a fraud trying to make a quick buck just like all the other deadbeats who hire ambulance chasing attorneys.

She has 75 million "good" reasons to feel depressed!

Yeah, she was so upset and depressed that...just a few weeks after the video hit the internet...she went on national TV ("Dancing With the Stars") and wore a slinky outfit split to her navel and did hootchey-kootchey hunch motions with her legs spread just as wide apart as she could get 'em.  Looked like a strip-club dancer trying to get those guys to stick their last dollar bill into her G-string.

You can't blame her for suing the hotel.  But don't try and give us that crap about being all upset and depressed....we believe that about as much as SHE does.

@AhmirHaddad Wow, you sound like fun with your holier than thou attitude.  She was under contract and the show must go on.

If you are insecure, depressed, etc you are not on TV with DWTS. $75 m really?

@Bionda It's called a contract.  The show must go on, or so they say.

How is it the hotel chain's fault?

@jaki11 The way I understand it, the d-bag requested that he be put in the room next to her, and the hotel obliged.

Not sure that's worth $75mil, but they are libel for something. That was pretty reckless. They should be thankful she wasn't attacked.
