The auditions take place on Tuesday, April 26, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Alliance Theatre, 1280 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta. Callbacks will be on April 27 and 28. All Blue Man training takes place in New York City.

This is the 25th anniversary of the group whose productions include aspects of theater, comedy, rock music and more. They’re called Blue Man, but women are welcome to audition as well — as long as they are willing to get blue and bald.

There are a few basic requirements to becoming a blue man or woman:

  • Height between 5’10” and 6’2” tall (athletic build)
  • Excellent acting, physical theater and improvisation skills
  • Compelling and genuine nonverbal storyteller
  • Drumming skills are an advantage but a good sense of rhythm is necessary
  • Must thrive in a constantly evolving team environment on and off stage
  • Willingness to relocate

The audition may include screening interviews, acting sessions, drumming demonstrations and more. For more information, visit www.bluemancasting.com.
